Choose your neighborhood
We offer three City Walk + Pintxos Tour options - each with distinct sets of dishes to sample and districts with unique personalities and histories.
Centro
Saunter through the pedestrianized center of the city and feel inspired by its Belle Epoque vibe. Take note of the best shopping destinations in town before dipping into the Area Romantica to witness the neo-gothic splendor of the Catedral del Buen Pastor. Stroll next to the Rio Urumea watching it battle the Cantabrian Sea for supremacy.
Gros
Cross the Rio Urumea and explore the neighborhood of Gros. A dynamic, buzzing residential district dotted with bustling restaurants, bars, and shops. After sampling delicacies within local joints, take a leisurely walk back to the center of town along Playa de la Zurriola – one of the best surfing destinations in the Basque Country.
Amara
Take an even deeper dive into this workaday neighborhood filled with lesser-known restaurants, bars, and shops frequented by locals. The Reale Arena – home to La Liga fútbol team, Real Sociedad – anchors the neighborhood to the south. Witness a genuinely distinct facet of the city while savoring unforgettable dishes along the way.

Eric was a perfect guide, fluent in Spanish & English. We’ve visited San Sebastián before but now feel enriched with the knowledge Eric shared with us to go and explore with insiders tips!! Each venue has specialized food and we couldn’t try everything but we have a list of ‘must do’s’ in the next few days...Wow, what a day.

If you're planning to go to San Sebastian, start your trip with a pintxo tour from Eric... Each place we went to, Eric knew the best pintxos to order. They were often things made fresh in the kitchen I would never have known about. I had a great time hanging out with Eric. Definitely one of the best food experiences I have had!
